has taken a notable step toward breast cancer awareness through the initiation of Project Pink, a program inspired by the memory of late Customer Care Manager, Debbie Lang, who succumbed to metastatic breast cancer in 2020.

According to Marketing Manager Stacey Scholz, Project Pink emerged from a desire to go beyond the standard manufacturer donations from pink glove sales in October, typically supported by the first responder community. Life-Assist sought to broaden the scope and impact by raising awareness and contributing directly to , a charity devoted to metastatic breast cancer research and support.

The initiative is an extension of Life-Assist’s culture, Scholz shared, which harbors a deep-seated belief in giving back to the community, epitomized through a variety of actions, including an employee donation matching program.

A shared commitmentThis endeavor has since expanded through partnerships with vendor collaborators, leading to a full-fledged line of Project Pink products. Besides the traditional pink gloves manufactured by Ansell, Sempermed and others, significant contributions have been made by , who created exclusive pink sheets for the project and StatPacks, who added the Medslinger G3+ Backpack to the Project Pink lineup.

This collective effort has garnered warm and appreciative responses from vendor partners, who have played a vital role in ensuring the availability of Project Pink products.
