WEYMOTUH, Mass. — A construction worker who sustained life-threatening injuries when a died at a hospital Tuesday, the Norfolk County District Attorney’s office announced.
The worker, identified by the district attorney’s office as Mario Diaz Obando, 29, of Fall River, was one of five people injured when the home on Vine Street collapsed around noontime. The four other workers were taken to a hospital, but officials described their injuries as minor.
The collapse remains under investigation by the United States Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Weymouth Police and Massachusetts State Police .
